Well, the time flies and the european
elections have almost arrived. According to the latest polls,
depending on how many people will vote, only a few thousand votes
could determine a three-way contest between Plaid Cymru , Labour and
the Conservatives http://www.clickonwales.org/2014 /

Maybe this is what you expect from
Plaid Cymru councilor , but I've been spending far too much of my
time going around Aberystwyth and Ceredigion canvassing and
delivering leaflets to encourage people to vote for Plaid Cymru .
Here are a few of the reasons why :
Putting Wales First : Only Plaid Cymru
puts Wales first every time. Only Plaid Cymru are accountable only to
the people of Wales . Jill Evans has pushed very hard to put Wales on
the map for investment, aid and social programs .
Action on Climate Change : Jill Evans
has been at the forefront in calling for investment in renewable
energy . She has also been a strong voice for banning fracking until
the environmental and health consequences of the process are known.
Plaid sits in the Green - EFA group in Europe , with green parties
and national liberation parties from across Europe, and they respect
her so much that she is vice chair of the group! This graphic
http://www.caneurope.org/resources/doc_view/2384-united-kingdom-meps-and-parties-scorecard-2014
shows that Plaid has done the most on climate change (more than the
Green Party!) according to the Climate Action Network Europe .
Restore the Welsh Language: It is only
Plaid Cymru who want to see the Welsh language thrive in all areas .
Only Plaid Cymru are calling to make the Welsh language an official
language in the European Union .

Making the Irish an official language in the European Union has added
to the confidence of Irish speakers and have helped to increase the
use of Irish in Ireland. Jill Evans will continue to fight for
funding and support infrastructure and policies to encourage economic
development in Welsh speaking areas (and everywhere in Wales) to
provide opportunities for Welsh speakers to stay in their communities
and contribute to the future of the language
That's where my vote is going tomorrow.
And I'll be up bright and earlier to deliver leaflets in the morning
